FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need professional photos or experience to apply?
No. We specialize in new faces. We prefer natural phone snapshots — no makeup, natural light. We want to see the real you.
Is there a fee to join Status International?
No. We never charge models for scouting or representation. We earn a commission only when we successfully place you with a client or partner agency. Be careful of anyone asking for upfront payments — that is not how legitimate agencies work.
What are the requirements to become a model?
We look for unique personalities first. Industry standards typically are: High Fashion (Paris/Milan): height 175–181 cm. Commercial (Sydney/Dubai): height 160–180 cm, healthy skin, a natural smile. Have a unique look but don’t fit the height? Apply anyway — exceptions happen. We work only with applicants aged 18 and over.
Do you assist with travel and visas?
Yes — but only after a specific, signed contract with a client agency is in place. All visa, flight, and accommodation costs for a confirmed booking are paid by the client agency, never by the model. You always keep your own passport and documents with you at all times. Before signing anything, you are encouraged to have the contract reviewed by your own lawyer or by your family. We work only with models aged 18 and over.
Is it safe? How do I know this is legitimate?
We operate as a mother agency — our role is to protect your interests in every contract with a client. In practice: you never pay us; you keep your passport and ID at all times; every contract is specific and can be reviewed by your lawyer or family before you sign; and we place you only with agencies we have verified and can name.
